Learner's Native Culture and the Humanities in Foreign Language Education

Foreign language want to talk about their own culture as well as foreign culture. But learner's native culture is restrictively treated in foreign language education. To redress an imbalance between learners native culture and foreign language, it is necessary to revalue the knowledge of one's own culture. In the era of globalization, intercultural competence requires a more fundamental research of the big C culture, the Humanities, which make learner more motivated in foreign language learning.
