Progress in study on urban heat island at home and abroad

Urban Heat Island(UHI) effect is one of the clearest impacts of human activity to climate system.In this paper,based on the study on concept and connotation of Urban Heat Island(UHI),the progress of study on Urban Heat Island was discussed so as to provide some scientific basis for the reduction of UHI.
