Transient Voltage Security Consideration in the Parameter Optimal Setting for Under-voltage Load Shedding

The mechanism of that the Under-voltage load shedding(UVLS)can improve the transient voltage security is analyzed.The method and steps of setting parameter for UVLS considering transient voltage security are put forward.Based on the margin of transient voltage security,this paper assesses the weakness of power system and the impact of UVLS parameter on transient voltage security.Then optimal UVLS parameter-setting considering transient voltage security margin is performed according to time-domain simulation with detailed system models.
