摘要
The challenges brought on by quickly shifting customer expectations, the opportunities presented by new technology, and the facilitation of new business models may all be effectively handled by smart logistics. This review article provides a thorough summary of recent developments in the Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart logistics, including intelligent freight handling, storage, and delivery. The essential technologies and effects of IoT-based smart logistics research and implementations, as well as their industry and regional distributions, are shown through a bibliometric analysis of articles published between 2008 and 2019. The purpose and value of IoT in smart logistics are highlighted in the content analysis, along with the challenges that come with IoT-based smart logistics. Additionally, it points up areas that need more research. The current challenges include the limited technological capabilities and proliferation of the Internet of Things, problems with standardized data collection and processing, and security and privacy concerns. They also include technical issues with RF identification and wireless sensing networks. There is a big need for research to get over the fundamental technical hurdles of IoT to boost Intelligent, diverse systems in logistics applications and collaboratively build cutting-edge technology for information and communications and systems for management.
