Segregated Completion Technology and Completion String for Horizontal Well

The thesis introduced geologic factor of reservoir and fundamental principles for horizontal well completion,technical difficulties and solutions for horizontal well completion were analyzed;performance and application of several segregated completion programs for horizontal well were described,such as screen and casing cementing combination completion,screen and external casing packer combination completion,external casing packer and sliding sleeve combination completion;described features,application results and completion string of several horizontal well selective completion programs developed by international and domestic service companies.The use of production tools such as external casing packer and sliding sleeve in segregated completion of horizontal well dramatically reduces completion cost to achieve stable yields,arrest bottom water coning,and dominate water cut.Segregated completion well should be the primary well completion system for horizontal well.
