Flexible Hybrid Microdisk Cavity for Lasing

The authors propose a hybrid microdisk cavity embedded in flexible medium for lasing applications. The 2-µm-diameter microdisk features a lasing threshold of 1.2 µW and lasing wavelength of ~680 nm with a linewidth of 0.3 nm at room temperature.
