Objective: Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) makes it difficult for educators to determine whether linguistically polished written assignments reflect genuine knowledge and clinical judgement. This review mapped research on authentic assessment and evidence of competence in nursing education, focusing on assessment redesign, process verification, and GenAI-supported feedback and scoring. Methods: The study was conducted according to the JBI scope review methodology and with reference to the PRISMA-ScR report. It was planned to systematically search 10 Chinese and English databases. After screening, the results were synthesized according to study type, main outcome, and evidence theme. Expected outputs: Focusing on the evaluation of nursing students' real abilities in the GenAI environment, this study systematically reviews three aspects of evidence: first, how the evaluation tasks were redesigned; second, how the completion process was verified, providing clearer evidentiary boundaries for the redesign of nursing education evaluation and subsequent research.
