The effect of the large cation matrix and delocalization of electronic density on the switchable behaviour of heterotrimetallic cyanido-bridged Fe x Mn 9− x W 6 clusters

A Mn( ii )-cation-based large matrix stabilizes the HT phase and shapes the phase transitions and spin-state equilibria in a trimetallic {FeIIxMnII9−x[W V (CN) 8 ] 6 (MeOH) 24 }· n MeOH cluster series.
