Objective:To observe the effectiveness of leflunomide and methotrexate in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis,to analyse their safety. Methods:Selected 120 cases of patients with rheumatoid arthritis which were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, the treatment group received oral leflunomide and methotrexate, control group was treated with leflunomide,to observe its efficacy and adverse reactions. Results:The total effective rate was 91.67% in treatment group, the total effective rate was 75.00% in control group(P0.01).There were 12 cases of adverse reactions (20.00%) in the treatment group, 11 cases of adverse reactions(18.33%) in control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of leflunomide and methotrexate in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis is better than the single use of leflunomide, the adverse reaction rates slightly higher than leflunomide.
