Hydrogen production is an attractive research. This is due to the hydrogen fuel is a clean energy and the hydrogen source is abundant in nature. The depletion of oil source and the global warming issue making hydrogen is the best alternative energy source in the future. However, the technique in producing hydrogen is still lack of efficiency. Thus the aim of this present work is to optimize the hydrogen production via water electrolysis. The rate of hydrogen production is found four times higher when a sacrificial anode molybdenum was employed.
