We report here the preparation of an electrically conducting γ-Fe_2O_3/polythiophene nanocomposites by using FeCl_3 as initiator.The results of FTIR,TEM,and Mssbauer spectra show that strong interaction happens betweenγ-Fe_2O_3 and polythiophene.The room temperature conductivity of γ-Fe_2O_3/polythiophene was higher than that of pure polythiophene,and go on increasing as theγ-Fe_2O_3 content in the composites increased.
