Clinic experience of root canal therapy in periodontic endodontic lesion induced by periodontitis

Objective:To investigate the importance of root canal therapy in periodontic endodontic lesion induced by periodontitis.Method:Accoding to patients,cooperations and agreements,256 teeth coming from 235 patients were divided into two groups and three levels respectively.The control group was therapyed under periodontal treatment,whereas the experiment group was treated under combined periodonto-endodontic therapy.Clinical efficacy were evaluated 1 year later.Result:The experiment group,s efficacy was significantly better than that of the control group(P0.01).Conclusion:Root canal therapy is indispensable in periodontic endodontic lesion.
