摘要
Rhizosphere is a complex habitat that includes a variety of microbial populations with significant role in biogeochemical cycling, plant growth, crop production, and ecosystem health. The importance of the rhizosphere has been progressively recognized by the scientific community during the past century. In the rhizosphere environment, a complex microbiome creates various compounds and proteins that aid in the growth and yield of various plant species. There is a crucial knowledge gap due to a lack of understanding of the rhizosphere. The advent of molecular tools and multi-omics approaches in recent years has the potential to dramatically improve our understanding of the rhizosphere's complexity, as well as the role and function of microorganisms. Molecular techniques that have been successfully implemented can be utilized to examine complex data. The current advancements, problems, and latest omics technology for studying rhizosphere dynamics are presented in this chapter.
