Anionic Polymerization of Phenyl-Substituted Isoprene Derivatives: Polymerization Behaviour and Cyclization-Enabled Fluorescence

1-Phenyl isoprene (1PhI) and 4-phenyl isoprene (4PhI) are shown to be suitable for living anionic polymerisation, with M n of up to 48.8 kg mol −1 ( Đ ≤ 1.13). Reactivity ratios for copolymerisation with styrene and isoprene are also determined.
