FLUID FLOW MODELING USING THE LATTICE BOLTZMANN METHOD

This paper introduces a numerical modeling technique for fluid flow in double porosity medium, which is based on lattice Boltzmann (LB) model. A 2D diffusion equation describing fluid flow in double porosity medium is derived from the lattice Boltzmann collision model. The Lattice Boltzmann equation, Chapman-Enskog expansion and multiscale technique are used in the derivation. By solving the diffusion equation using the lattice gas automata (LGA), we develop a numerical technique for the modeling of fluid flow in double porosity medium. A numerical test example showed is the perfect.
