Hospital trust trials video monitoring of intensive care patients

Video technology that allows doctors in one hospital to monitor critically ill patients in another is to be trialled in the United Kingdom. Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust will test a US system that is said to have relieved pressure on intensive care staff and improved some aspects of patient care.
