Computer-aided INAA Measurements and Geochemical Classification of Various Basaltic Rocks from Costa Rica

The basaltic rocks of Costa Rica show a wide range of chemical compositions. By means of INAA measurements a correlation matrix has been derived and there is a positive correlation of the REE and Th with U, Hf, Ta and Rb in basaltic rocks and a negative correlation of the REE with Co, Sc, Cs and Fe.
