To Produce Active Carbon from Lignin in Black Liquor

This paper studied on extracting lignin from conifer black liquor, the producing active carbon, and analyzed the properties of the active carbon. Furthermore, the influence of active time,active temperature and the ratio of active reagent on the adsorption properties are discussed especially. The order is: active temperature the ratio of active reagent active time. The result showed that the lignin in black liquor is a kind of very fine materials that used to manufacture active carbon.
