摘要
Abstract—To improve the quality of metal products, enterprises are forced to seek reserves at all positions of the technological chain of transformation of an initial rolled metal. The maximum effect is achieved by excluding energy-intensive and labor-intensive annealing in furnaces with a protective atmosphere and by removing surface defects by etching or mechanical means. We propose an economical and resource-saving technology of structural and mechanical quality assurance of rolled products for the upsetting of metal products. The rolled steel products prepared using this technology has a homogeneous fine-dispersed structure without a decarburized layer with increased plasticity, which makes it possible to decrease the number of passes during the upsetting of metal products and to increase the tool’s performance.
