摘要
This study investigates manufacturing enterprises in China and identifies a substantial peer effect on service transformation. The effect is more pronounced in mixed-service transformations compared to embedded-service transformations. The study also confirms that industry competition and the enterprise information environment are important influencing mechanisms. Additionally, it demonstrates that the peer effect of manufacturing service transformation contributes to improved corporate performance. By integrating the context of high-quality enterprise development, this study positions the peer effect as a key driving factor of service transformation in manufacturing, thereby extending the existing theoretical framework of service transformation in manufacturing.
