Natural killer cells in xenotransplantation

Xenotransplantation is one of the most promising solutions to the shortage of human donors,but severe immunological rejection after transplantation denies the clinic application.The nonspecific immune system plays a more important role in xenotransplantation compared with allotransplantation.And NK cells,which is an important component of the nonspecific immune system,carries out the xenorejection of xenograft by lots of mechanisms.
