Development and Status of Research on Verifiable Secret Sharing

In this paper, the research development and advances of verifiable secret sharing are reviewed. At the same time, the application of verifiable secret sharing has been discussed. And then, we analyzed the development trend of the researches in the field and point out some research directions that deserve taking into account.
