Monolithically Integrated 2 x 64-Gb/s Silicon Photonic WDM Transmitter

This paper presents a monolithically integrated $2 \times$ $64-\mathrm{Gb} / \mathrm{s}$ silicon photonic WDM transmitter using micro-ring modulators (MRMs) and EPIC technology, fabricated in a 0.25 $\mu \mathrm{m}$ process. The PAM-4 driver enhances linearity and performance, with measurements confirming stable $64-\mathrm{Gb} / \mathrm{s}$ operation.
