[Expert consensus on the China Pertussis Initiative].

Some countries with high coverage of diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis combined vaccines have experienced pertussis epidemics and/or local outbreaks since 1980s. This phenomenon is called "pertussis resurgence". In recent years, pertussis epidemics in several provinces of China have resurged dramatically, arousing great concern from all parties. By referring the working model of the Global Pertussis Initiative, the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association has organized and launched the China Pertussis Initiative. A group of experts in this field has analyzed data of current pertussis in China and identified problems posed by the disease. This expert consensus was completed based on the discussions of the latest national and international research progress, epidemiological trends and immunization strategies of pertussis, with special aims to provide guidance for the surveillance, prevention and control of pertussis in China.自20世纪80年代以来，一些百日咳白喉破伤风联合疫苗接种率高的国家陆续发生百日咳流行或局部暴发，被称之为百日咳再现。近年来，中国一些省份也陆续出现百日咳疫情大幅回升，引起各方高度关注。为此，中华预防医学会参考“全球百日咳行动计划”工作模式，发起了“中国百日咳行动计划”，并组织相关专家研究形势，分析问题。在对国内外百日咳研究最新进展、流行趋势和免疫策略进行讨论和研究的基础上，形成本专家共识，以期为指导当前中国百日咳防控工作提供帮助。.
