Objective To study the relationship between the decocting quantity of liquiritigen or isoliquiritigenin and different formula combinations of Sini Powder.Method The reversed phased-high performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC) was used to determine the decocting quantity of(liquiritigenin) and isoliquiritigenin from the different combinations of Sini Powder,and then the result was analyzed statistically.Result The decocting quantity of liquiritigen and isoliquiritigenin were higher from the whole formula of Sini Powder than from other formula combinations,but lower from the(combination) of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch and Bupleurum chinense DC(P﹤0.05).Conclusion The decocting quantity of liquiritigen and isoliquiritigenin from the different formula combinations of Sini(Powder) has a significant difference.
