The direct selective hydrogenation of oleic acid amide was firstly put forward in this paper,and cheap sponge Ni was used as catalyst,the result was satisfactory.The results show that majority impurity of oleic acid amide is removed via selective hydrogenation,linoleic and linolenic in product are mostly transformed into oleic acid amide which can improve content and performance of product(the content of oleic acid amide in product raises 76.198% from 67.532% via hydrogenation).The reaction conditions are obtained: reac-tion temperature 160℃,reaction pressure 4MPa,reaction time 3 h,catalyst dosage 3%.
