Prospect of Directly Synthesis of Glycerol Carbonate Via Dimethyl Carbonate from Carbon Dioxide,Methanol and Glycerol Reaction System

In this paper,the synthesis of dimethyl carbonate from carbon dioxide with methanol and the synthesis of glycerol carbonate from carbon dioxide with glycerol were reviewed.The research progresses of these two processes were discussed and analyzed,and then a directly synthesis of glycerol carbonate via dimethyl carbonate from carbon dioxide,methanol and glycerol reaction system was established.In addition,the possible approach for implementation and the potential influencing factors were described.
