Based on multi-symplectic idea,the generalized multi-symplectic integrator method is presented to solve dynamic response of bridges subjected to moving loads.The formulations with a generalized multi-symplectic conservation law are deduced,the Preissmann scheme and the discrete generalized multi-symplectic conservation law error formulation are obtained.Numerical example results show that the accuracy of the generalized multi-symplectic method is higher than those of the Newmark method and the precise integration method,and this method is an efficient algorithm with excellent long-time numerical stability as the multi-symplectic method.
