SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF TRACE Cd AND Pb IN ZINC ELECTROLYTE BY ANODIC STRIPPING VOLTAMMETRY

Differential pulse polarography anodic stripping voltammetry is employed to determine trace cadmium and lead in zinc electrolyte simultaneously.The sensitive stripping peaks of cadmium and lead are found at-0.6V and-0.4V respectively.Under the optimum experimental conditions,the relative standard deviations are 0.6% and 0.9% with recovery rate of 96.0%~100.4% and 96.4%~104.0% respectively.The results are satisfactory.
