摘要
Fluorinated molecules have attracted increasing attention in many chemical disciplines. Despite the tremendous advancements in organofluoring chemistry, the development of fluorocarbon chain homologation and elongation reactions remains challenging due to the lack of controllable and highly selective synthetic methods. This chapter provides an overview of the reported examples of reactions in this field by using carbene, radical and ionic-type C1 sources, telomerization and polymerization of fluoroalkenes.
