Increasing age does not influence hip-specific functional outcome or health-related quality of life following total hip arthroplasty

Age did not influence postoperative hip-specific outcome or HRQoL (according to the EQ-5D) following THA. Despite a significant improvement, older patients had lower postoperative activity levels compared to younger patients, but this may be reflective of the overall physical effect of ageing.Cite this article: Bone Jt Open 2022;3(9):692-700.
