Field Relation as Theory and Method

Field relation” is a comprehensive expression of the relations between non-l ocal scholars,between non-local and local scholars,and between investigators an d the people being investigated.“Field relation” is both a theory and a method .It is used for collecting,describing and explaining folk materials.It stipulate s the behaviour pattern of scholars in the folk culture of the objects of their research.It made “field work” to be “field research” instead of only collect ing materials.
