Thermal degradation of tri-n-butyl phosphate

Products evolved from the pyrolysis and combustion of tri-n-butyl phosphate in a flow apparatus have been identified by gas chromatography, mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography. The possibility of applying this kind of reaction to the elimination of tri-n-butyl phosphate wastes has been examined with regard to toxicological and industrial considerations.
