摘要
An automated ventilation control system, consisting of two independent subsystemsfor static pressure and temperature control, was developed to maintain environmentof a broiler research room in the University of Kentucky Poultry Research Facility.The facility is used to evaluate effects of broiler dietary manipulation on birdperformance, and volatilization of ammonia from broiler litter and the building. Salientfeatures of the design are presented. After two years of operation, the system hasproven to be robust and trouble-free. Dynamic, real-time building gaseous emissiondata can be obtained by recording room ammonia concentration, static pressuredifference, and exhaust fan speeds.
