For user and producer of ultrasonic cleaning equipments, to know the characteristics of the signal of sound field is helpful to measure ultrasonic field correctly and appraise ultrasonic cleaning equipments reasonably. The hydrophone was used as measuring instrument to study the acoustic pressure waveforms of ultrasonic fields for cleaning in time domain, and the time domain characteristics of pressure signal were obtained. Finally, the effect of ultrasonic generator on the pressure signal was also investigated. The results show that randomicity and periodicity are the characteristics of pressure waveforms of ultrasonic cleaning fields, and ultrasonic generator has a direct influence on the characteristics of ultrasonic fields.
