Study on the Synthesis and Molecular Modification of Ferulic Acid

The progress of synthesis and biological activity studies of the ester, amides, ethers and ketones of the ferulic acid was reviewed. Due to the high biological activity and low toxicity of ferulic acid and its derivatives as well as wide use in many fields, the intensive study of ferulic acid and its molecular modification is very important.
