Research Progress on Flame Retardant Silicone Rubber

The combustion process,flame retardant technology and the flame retardant mechanism of silicone rubber,were reviewed. The flame retardant mechanism of the filled flame retardant,intumescent flame retardant,chemical flame retardant,and platinum flame retardant was summarized as well. Lastly,the development trend of silicone rubber on flame retardant technology was discussed briefly.
