摘要
BACKGROUND: Bimekizumab is a humanised monoclonal antibody to Il-17A and F, licensed in 2023 for the treatment of moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). OBJECTIVES/METHODS: This retrospective case series reports on15 patients were treated with bimekizumab for HS. RESULTS: 74% were female. Mean age was 42 years. 86.66% of patients had Hurley 3 HS, and mean baseline IHS4 score was 20.13 All were biologic experienced, and 11/15 were taking concomitant medications for treatment of HS. 66.67% (10/15) of patients responded to bimekizumab at 16 weeks as calculated by HiSCR or HS-PGA. Mean DLQI fell by 9 points. One patient experienced secondary failure at 9 months. CONCLUSIONS: Response rates in this group at week 16 are higher than those seen in phase III clinical trials, despite previous biologic exposure in all patients. While concomitant HS medication may play a role in this higher response rate, bimekizumab is an important treatment option for moderate-to-severe HS.
