摘要
Through the thermodynamic analysis and calculation,the diagrams of stability relations of every phase were constructed,and it was found that during reduction of TiO2 and B2O3 with carbon,the reducting course of TiO2 is completed in steps and no metal titanium is produced;It was thought that temperature and CO pressure were the main affecting factors in the course of synthesizing titanium diboride by carbothermal reduction.In a vacuum conditions,it was useful to synthesis high-purity titanium diboride by using high temperature and low CO pressure.
