Research on dynamic variation of bath carbon content in BOF steelmaking process

Through introduction of measured data collected by exhaust gas analysis instrument,realtime change tendency of carbon content in bath was delineated by using carbon exponential model.Total decarburization amount in converter blowing process was calculated by using modified carbon integral model.Dynamic change of carbon content and tapping condition at endpoint of steelmaking were predicted.Based on mechanism analysis,carbon exponential realtime prediction model and endpoint prediction model were established by use of three steps decarburization curves,carbon integral equation was modified,and decarburization rate calculation model during whole blowing process was obtained.Simulation results indicated that carbon exponential model and carbon integral model have reference value when supervises BOF steelmaking directly.To some extent,they can substitute exhaust gas analysis instrument.
