Cyanide Leaching of Gold From Gold-bearing Tailings

Extraction of gold from low-grade gold containing tailings by cyanide leaching and stirring column leaching are tested.According to column leaching test results,the experiments on cyanide leaching of gold from gold-containing tailings from Snake Mountain in Hubei have been gone.The results showed that,gold-containing tailing palletized was pretreated for 8 hours using alkaline solution,then was leached for 24 hours using sodium cyanide solution.Leaching rate was over 60% at the conditions of sodium cyanide amount of 1 kg/t and the solution pH of 10.0 to 12.0.
