Impacts of emasculation and removing leaves at different positions and upper main stem after maize pollination on yield were researched. The results showed that only removing tassel had the highest yield of 9 882.47 kg/hm2,which increased by 520.13 kg/hm2 with 5.56% than that of control;although emasculation with one top leaf and main stem could increase by 1.36%,but the increasing range was far less than that of emasculation with leaves on.Regression analysis showed that: except the top leaves,in the range of removing 1~8 leaves, when removed one more leaf at each time, the number of grains dropped 5.32 per spike,thousand-grains weight reduced 6.57 g,yield reduced 270.3 kg/hm2.Among leaves at different positions, the leaves under the tassel and under the corn had the most significant influences on the growth of maize grains and on the yield.
