SPECIMEN PREPARATION AND LIQUEFACTION OF SANDS

This note presents results of a liquefaction testing program performed on three different sands, specimens of which were prepared by two common but different methods. Results demonstrate that specimen preparation methods significantly affected the liquefaction behavior.
