| 其它 | We investigated the earthworm community and related soil chemical parameters (pH, base saturation, C:N, C-storage) of the surface humus layer and upper mineral soil (0-5 cm depth) in (a) a 99-year old pure Norway spruce (Picea abies [L.] Karst.) stand, (b) a spruce stand 21 years after liming (4 t ha-1 of dolomitic limestone applied in 1984), and (c) in an adjacent beech stand at the Höglwald site in southern Germany. Repeated earthworm inventories had shown that the earthworm abundance and biomass increased substantially after liming. |
