摘要
The total sublimation vapour pressure of Cd3P2(s) has been measured over the temperature range 760 to 990 K by use of a Bourdon gauge. Cd3P2 is shown to sublime by congruent decomposition to gaseous elements. The equilibrium constants of the reaction: Cd3P2(s) = 3Cd(g) + 12P4(g), have been calculated. The enthalpy of sublimation of Cd3P2(s) is ΔHso = (114.1 ± 2.2) kcalth mol−1. The standard thermodynamic functions of Cd3P2 have been evaluated: ΔHfo(Cd3P2, s, 298.15 K) = −(24.1 ± 3.0) kcalth mol−1; So(Cd3P2, s, 875 K) = 70.3 calth K−1 mol−1.
