摘要
Direct C(sp 3 )–H functionalization is an ideal topic in synthetic chemistry due to the high atom‐ and step‐economy. However, the reactivity and selectivity issues are the remaining challenges. Recently, photoinduced hydrogen atom transfer has been employed in Mannich reactions. Through direct C(sp 3 )‐H bond cleavage to generate alkyl radicals and subsequent reactions with imines, diverse amine scaffolds are efficiently constructed. This review summarizes recent advances in photoinduced C(sp 3 )–H functionalization in Mannich reactions via hydrogen atom transfer processes.
