Hot Experimental Study on the Model of Rotary Kiln

A laboratory rotary kiln was set up and hot experiments were carried on it in this work.The experimental results show that,axial velocity of material increases with the rotation speed,which results in the increment of kiln output;kiln temperature increases with the cal-cination time;kiln temperature changes significantly at the kiln inlet and outlet and gently at the middle part of the kiln.At the same time,the temperature distribution between laboratory and practical rotary kiln are similar on the whole.Finally,some suggestions about phenomenon happened in the experiments are put forward.
