A Study on Acidic Buffering Ability of Soils in Hunan Province.

Elected from six soil types, this paper collects twentysix soil species, measures soil acidic buffering curve and soil aciddamage capacity. The results indicate that soil parent material, soil type and anthropogenic affection degree are the principal factors which affect soil acidic buffering capacily. As the experiment shows, apply alkaline ameliorators to soils, their acidic buffering ability can be enhanced greatly.
