By considering the interaction of piezoelectric effect and couple-stress effect, the Lamb wave characteristics in functionally graded one-dimensional hexagonal piezoelectric quasi-crystal nanoplates are studied by using the Legendre orthogonal polynomial method. The interaction influences of the piezoelectric, couple-stress, and gradient effects are calculated. The piezoelectric and the couple-stress effects are mutually inhibitory. The gradient effect overall enhances the couple-stress effect of phonon modes, but weakens that of phason modes. These results can be used as a theoretical reference for the design of nano quasi-crystal structures.
