Teachers' organizational identification and their professional identification are both specific forms of social identification,and are the feelings of identity with or belonging to the organization(profession).198 teachers were measured by the revised Mael' Organizational Identification Questionnaire and the Professional Identification Questionnaire which origins from the Mael' Organizational Identification Questionnaire.The results were as follows:① the Professional Identification Questionnaire has satisfactory reliability and validity,and thus could be used in future study;② teachers' organizational identification and their professional identification are two distinct psychological construct which could be distinguished;③ according to the cognitive levels,teachers' organizational identification and their professional identification could be divided into four primary types:identification with one's profession and not with the employing organization(professional identification),identification only with the organization(organization identification),identification with both(mixed),or with neither(indifferent).
